Hi, I’m Mohammed.
I’m a senior software engineer based in Dubai. I’ve spent more than a decade building enterprise platforms and SaaS products, and working through the engineering decisions that keep them useful as they grow.
Start with the fundamentals.
My work begins with the browser: how it renders, how state changes, and where the time goes. Those details shape the architecture of a frontend, especially when the product is large and the requirements keep changing.
Security is part of that design work. It shapes decisions about authentication, data handling, and the boundary between the browser and the server. Performance, accessibility, and maintainability belong in those decisions too.
A place to keep the thinking.
The writing here follows those questions into React, JavaScript, and the browser. The projects show where some of that work has been used.
There is room for personal experiments too. Prism is one: a visual test that turns design choices into a direction you can use. It belongs here alongside everything else I make.
The name on the door.
Congar is the name of this personal website. Open Form is its visual identity: an open C, a paper palette, and room for the work to speak.
