Software around AI work
This experience brought my frontend and system architecture work into an AI setting. The scope included internal software as well as broader enablement work, with different requirements across the projects. I contributed as part of the team building that software.
The internal project began with AI evaluation. Alongside the governance and security-related work, it gave me experience with the supporting systems an organization needs around AI.

AI enablement and governance
I contributed software engineering to projects concerned with AI enablement and AI governance. My role connected application development with system design, with attention to how the software would support the work of the teams using it.
Internal evaluation software
I worked on an internal project whose initial purpose was AI evaluation. This added experience in developing software for internal users and understanding the relationship between a specialized workflow and the application built around it.
Security-related project work
I also contributed to a security project within this AI work. My contribution was part of the wider engineering effort, connecting implementation decisions to the project requirements and its place in the surrounding system.
How I work.
Start with the intended use
I work to understand what the team needs to accomplish before deciding how to structure the application. In this setting, understanding the purpose of an internal workflow was part of making useful engineering decisions.
Connect frontend and system decisions
I consider the interface in relation to the system behind it. I bring that perspective to implementation and architecture discussions so that application behavior and project requirements can be considered together.

AI beyond the interface
The work expanded my understanding of AI enablement as an organizational effort that also needs supporting software, internal workflows, and engineering collaboration.
Governance as product context
Working around AI governance gave me more experience interpreting specialized requirements and understanding their implications for the software people need to use.
Architecture in a new domain
I developed my ability to apply frontend and system design experience to an unfamiliar domain, asking clearer questions about a project before committing to implementation decisions.
